Miss Moss has curated a dream collection of rugs, that is if you have a 20 room mansion with wood floors. Simply adding a rug to your humble abode can turn a room from bland and cold to inviting and cozy, it’s a very “gezellig” addition indeed.
Harvested from her guest post in Honestly…WTF, Miss Moss has curated an interdisciplinary collaboration of texture and fantasy. One part oil paint, two parts catwalk funk, and you’ve got a recipe that will have guests coming back for seconds.
“One of my favourite shows from the recent Spring 2012 collections was the “new” Kenzo - which was recently taken over by creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the geniuses behind Opening Ceremony. Which, of course, explains why there’s a certain wacky & fun edge to the all the pieces. I couldn’t help but feel that the setting for these knock-out outfits was slightly bland, so I decided to re-imagine some of my favourite looks in decidedly different scenery…”
