Queen of the Nile dusted in dream blush, dancing atop the curve of an art deco moon, howling her strength and beauty, a bad ass goddess- This is how I would describe the woman that dares to wear Melody Ehsani’s jewelry. Persian American living in L.A., Ehsani emboldens us all to be our truest selves the way we were designed to be.

Andrea Lyamah has cooked up some delicious retro swimwear designs for her summer 2012 collection. I love the paisley two-piece!

A word from the artist, Izziyana Suhaimi: I am Endlessly curious. My work primarily involves the use of embroidery. I am interested in collapsing the boundaries between traditional and popular cultures and exploring the links that exist between these two. My work examines how this particular mishmash manifests itself in modern times, especially concerning modern youths. Preferring to work with craft-based techniques, I am attracted to the evidence of the hand and its time-consuming aspect, which runs counter to the instant gratification and mass-production centered age of today. My works have been exhibited in Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan and Japan.

I am in LOVE with the work of ARTAYA! From what was once an everyday product, ARTAYA turns paper into gems and jewels ready to admire. Exploring different textures and daring colors, the designs are crisp and full of flavor. Oh, and did I mention she makes clothing too?
Forget Black Friday or Cyber Monday, the coolest place to shop for great finds is with Supermarket Sarah. Sarah curates one-of-a-kind “walls of wonder”, it’s like peaking into your neighbor’s window and being able to buy their favorite tufted pillow, each wall has it’s own theme in which the items dance into your heart’s desires.
