Miss Moss has curated a dream collection of rugs, that is if you have a 20 room mansion with wood floors. Simply adding a rug to your humble abode can turn a room from bland and cold to inviting and cozy, it’s a very “gezellig” addition indeed.

Luis Toledo is a puzzle maker of life’s beautiful and strange components. He assembles fragments into robust and mesmerizing chronicles, each viewer unfolding a story worth a lifetime. I am in love with his work! Below is a statement from his website:
“Life, identity, reality, status quo, intention and purpose. From very young, the look of Luis Toledo explored the inquisitive reality, analyzing the hidden meaning of every image, dissecting the mystery of beauty. That´s how, as a meticulous collector, he would gather grain by grain, illustrations, textures, and fragments from where he created and built his images. Tangled, powerful and ethereal, each work gathers deep meanings. His dedication naturally walked towards visual communication, developing into his actual work as a graphic designer in a first place, for the music industry (even though this is an environment in which his talent resist to limit itself ). In the digital collage, he finds his favorite discipline, which lets him put together in a more effective way, each atom of color to create a vast universe.”

Olivia Steele juxtaposes iconic imagery with everlasting phrases of American culture, forcing the mind to meander between what is, and what is in between. There’s nothing like neon lights to grab the attention of the passerby…
An Urge. An Impulse. A Desire. No, I’m not talking about your sexy neighbor or the melting Italian gelato…
I’m talking about the need to be a part of something larger than yourself. A need to help others and strive for nothing less than a ripple effect of positivity. It’s the kind of longing that doesn’t go away, seeing that there are many woes that straddle the earth and it’s inhabitants.
I recently discovered an organization called the Creative Visions Foundation. It was started by the mother of Dan Eldon and aims to keep his spirit alive. Dan was an ambitious artist, adventurer, and humanitarian journalist who was killed in Somalia in 1993. The Foundation aims to inspire people of all ages all over the world by supporting creative projects that evoke change and offer hope to all.
